SJMSAA Cheer
SJMSAA Cheers offers Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for rising 5th, 6th, and 7th grade Middle School/ Academy students in St. Johns County. Cheer teams participate in sideline cheer events as well as competitions where competition teams are available. Cheer team registration will open January 15th and close March 23rd, with evaluations occurring in the end of March. Practices and events vary per team and there are Cheer camps held in June (Varsity) and August (JV) with football games starting in August. Most teams have an extended season of competitions till mid February. More info will be available at their schools Parent Meeting. Parent Meeting dates and locations will be posted by February 1st. Dates for evaluations will be announced SOON! Our program offers Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions and everyone will make a team! If your athlete does not make the team she wanted, parents can request (by April 1st) a full refund minus the $35 evaluation fee. Looking forward to another fun and successful season! ​​​

Typical Season Dates:

Before attending any clinics all student-athletes need to register through SPARC Athletics at the link below:

Once Evaluations have occurred, athletes will receive an email from their coach regarding placement on the Varsity or JV squad. There is also a payment plan that breaks the registration into 3 equal payments!

As St. Johns County continues to grow, we need dedicated leaders to help guide and inspire our athletes. This is a part-time position with the flexibility to create your own schedule. Stipends available! Plus, there's the possibility of an extended competition season!
