Coach Kristen Troyer

Coach Troyer has 6 years of experience coaching All-Star competitive cheerleading to include youth, junior and senior levels both all-girl, co-ed. and dance. This will be her 7 th year as a coach at Valley Ridge Academy. In addition, she cheered for 10 years including middle school, high school, All-Star competitive (both co-ed and all girl) plus college (both co-ed and all girl). During which she was awarded State and national titles. She attended Florida Atlantic
University for a year where she was recruited to Hawaii Pacific University on a full cheerleading scholarship where her team won back-to-back national championships. Coach Troyer has been a 5th grade teacher for 6 years now at Valley Ridge Academy and has been teaching for 15 years. She has been married to her Firefighter Engineer Husband for 17 years. They have 14-year-old twins, 2 cats and a Chihuahua.
Coach Troyer is excited to continue doing what she has a passion for, building great role models and athletes. She looks forward to seeing the joy in each cheerleader's eyes through the many memories made and goals achieved.
